These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Cowpin ("Cowpin", "we", "us"), a bookmark-management service at cowpin.com. By creating an account or using Cowpin, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Questions: help@cowpin.com.
The service
Cowpin lets you save, organize, search, archive, and rediscover bookmarks, including AI-assisted and Pinboard-compatible features. Cowpin is currently in beta and offered free of charge; features may change, and we may introduce paid plans in the future with reasonable notice.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Your content
You own your content. The bookmarks, notes, and other material you add remain yours. To operate the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, display, back up, and transmit your content solely to provide Cowpin to you (for example, to archive page text, run search, generate AI results, and show you your library). You can export or delete your content at any time.
You are responsible for the content you save and must have the right to save it. You agree not to use Cowpin to store or distribute unlawful content, infringe others' rights, or to abuse, overload, probe, or disrupt the service or others' use of it.
AI features
AI features process your content with a third-party AI provider to generate results (see our Privacy Policy). AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete — treat it as a helpful assistant, not authoritative advice, and verify anything important.
Availability, beta status, and "as is"
We work to keep Cowpin available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and — especially during beta — features may change or break and data issues can occur. Keep your own backups of anything critical (you can export at any time). To the extent permitted by law, Cowpin is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cowpin and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (which, during the free beta, is zero).
Termination
You may stop using Cowpin and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, or discontinue the service, with reasonable notice where practical. On termination you can export your data beforehand; afterward we remove it as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and continued use after changes means you accept them.
